Before I begin, I will answer the question I'm sure most of you are asking about now, "What is this guy doing in Ben's stuff?" Well, the answer is simple enough; Ben doesn't have access to the FS RT, as he isn't a host SysOp (or even a RR user!). However, he loves Macs and BBSs so much that he's gotten me to give him the Cthulhu source way back when it was current and has created two (count em) two new externals. He has then asked me to put them on GEnie and test them out, which I am doing. This blurb basically states what I've found with the games.

My users like it, although there really isn't much of a purpose to it once you've mapped out the area. Also, some of the rooms don't quite act like what they say, so you might wish to tell your users to explore _every_ way out (whether documented or no) in each room.
Other than that, I have had no severe problems with the game.

I think that this is the more original of the two, and from the outset it looks rather fun. I haven't encountered any worth-while problems, but you may need to play some ResEdit tricks to get the icon to show up (stick it in the DeskTop, and such), as I don't think StuffIt likes it.
BTW: I'm not sure if Ben mentioned how to install AmoebaWars; just pop it on the disk and make a command 51. Then launch it from Host, make an options file, and you're set. There are no menus/whatever, just the help+welcome files.
Other than that, there's just one more minor cosmetic problem (well, two actually). #1, files may or may not have an icon. All text files won't.
#2 (big prob): because it's based on Cthulhu, those that remember it will
also remember the weird file problems it had. What this means is that you
can put them in a folder, but you may have some ghost files popping out at
you for no reason in the RRH level. I recommend that you DO NOT put them in
folders; rather you just throw it all in the RRH folder and forget about it.
That's about it for now. I will be supporting it on GEnie and my own board (Mac at Night, 801 581 1823 10p-7a 3/12); however, I probably won't have then available for DL until after XMAS (assuming I get a new SE).
